The grounds

The villa is approached via a small country lane through the fruit orchards and the villa’s double fronted drive which allows parking for several cars.

Its grounds have several orange and almond trees and Mediterranean plants and two main relaxing and recreation areas:

The pool terraces are situated to one side of the property. Here is the private swimming pool with its jaw dropping views of the village and mountains. It is positioned next to a lemon grove (not part of the property) where you can reach across from the poolside and pick lemons when in season.

A few steps lead up to the middle sun terrace overlooking the pool with sun loungers and parasols. A couple more steps lead up to the dining terrace with a large outside dining table and chairs and a barbecue in front of the outside naya/summer room, complete with a cane settee, two armchairs and a coffee table.

The second area, situated on the other side of the villa, is the garden terraces. Accessed via French doors from the dining room this is one of several areas to relax or dine, in and around the villa.

The three walled terraces have pepper, bay and almond trees providing shade and can be lit at night. Steps lead to the gravelled bottom terrace where there is an attractive wood and cane pergola which is a great place to eat breakfast or dinner and has lovely views down the valley. The pergola has young vine and bougainvillea plants growing up its pillars and a superb round carved stone table and benches complete with a beautiful hand-painted lemon motif table.
